Crystal Palace have reached an agreement with Brighton to sign Igor Julio on loan, according to journalist Charlie Parker-Turner.
The Eagles are in a race against time to get some more reinforcements through the door, with it being a quiet summer transfer window for them so far. Walter Benitez, Borna Sosa, and Yeremi Pino are the only senior additions to have signed on the dotted line, while they lost key star Eberechi Eze to London rivals Arsenal.

According to journalist Parker-Turner, reporting on X, Crystal Palace have agreed a shock loan move to sign Igor from their rivals Brighton. Personal terms are not expected to be an issue, with Palace now in pole position ahead of West Ham United.
"EXC: Surprise loan deal. Crystal Palace have reached an agreement with Brighton to sign Igor Julio on a season-long loan. Personal terms not expected to be an issue. West Ham also in the race but Palace in pole position to secure his signature as it stands."
GIVEMESPORT senior correspondent Fabrizio Romano has recently confirmed that Liverpool have placed a bid to sign Palace defender Marc Guehi. It's unclear whether Guehi will be allowed to leave the club before the summer transfer window slams shut, but it's interesting to see the Eagles in the market for another defender.
The Igor deal would certainly be a controversial one considering the rivalry between the two clubs, but it appears all parties are willing to complete the move.
