Jadon Sancho to Aston Villa from Manchester United confirmed, details revealed, ‘here we go’…

Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho is off to Aston Villa, with the two clubs agreeing on transfer deadline day.

Sancho has been unsettled at Manchester United for some time now, not only exiled under Ruben Amorim but also under his predecessor Erik ten Hag.

Sancho had a loan spell at Chelsea which, all things considered, went well. The Englishman was playing football again, so when the Blues offered him a contract and he turned it down, it came as a surprise.

Sancho then had many offers throughout the window, including from the likes of Roma – but nothing materialised due to his wage demands.

Now, despite plenty of interest during the window, it appears Aston Villa is his next destination.

Jadon Sancho to Aston Villa from Manchester United agreed

Both David Ornstein and Fabrizio Romano have confirmed that Sancho will be joining his new side on a season-long loan.

The clubs have an agreement in place, and United will keep the option to extend his contract until June 2026.

Ornstein writes: Aston Villa on verge of agreement to sign Jadon Sancho from Man Utd. Deal for 25yo winger to join #AVFC on season-long loan almost done between clubs & with England int’l. #MUFC retain option to extend contract (June 2026).

Romano says: BREAKING: Jadon Sancho to Aston Villa, here we go! Deal in place on initial loan from Manchester United. Green light from United and deal being sealed with formal steps to follow next. Sancho will join #AVFC.
