Everton will have plenty of action on deadline day as a departure is almost confirmed.
David Moyes has had to be ruthless with deals this summer as he will be looking to move on any dead wood in the squad.
He’s done this earlier in the window through Ashley Young and Abdoulaye Doucoure, as he looks to bring a fresh feel to the Everton squad.
Nathan Patterson, who was in desperate need of a move, saw his desire crumble with the collapse of Patterson’s loan to Sevilla.
But elsewhere, it looks like a transfer is full steam ahead, and it’s brilliance from the hierarchy.

Everton include ‘significant’ sell-on clause in Youssef Chermiti transfer to Rangers.
A deal that has become clear is the exit of 21-year-old striker Youssef Chermiti.
After signing for £15 million in 2023, the Portuguese forward hasn’t exactly gotten the rub of the green at Everton, and now his future looks to be certain, as Chermiti is joining Rangers.
With it originally being dubbed as a loan, Chermiti will be joining Rangers permanently, and The Athletic’s Paddy Boyland has confirmed that the initial fee will be around £8million, plus £2 million in add-ons.

Although the figure is a loss on what the Toffees paid for the striker before, the true masterclass from CEO Angus Kinnear and co is the inclusion of a ‘significant sell-on clause’ based on the profit Rangers make on any future transfer.
This could turn out to be a stroke of genius from the board, as Everton might regret selling the 21-year-old in the first place.
It’s certainly a shock that Chermiti is leaving permanently, but for £10 million, it’s hard for The Friedkin Group to say no.
After just 24 appearances at the club, and competition with Thierno Barry and Beto, it’s clear that the striker himself needs the move, despite showing promise in his limited game time.
Luis Figo hailed Chermiti’s bright future, as he could certainly achieve his potential with the Scottish giants.
It’s a risk being made, but considering the fee for their third-choice forward, and now a sell-on clause being added, the overall move seems like a transfer success.
