Senne Lammens flying to England after agreeing personal terms with Manchester United–Aston Villa still in race

Manchester United are looking to sign a goalkeeper on deadline day and have Aston Villa’s Emiliano Martínez and Royal Antwerp’s Senne Lammens as their main targets.

Earlier today, we covered claims from Argentina that the 32-year-old has an agreement in place with Manchester United. It was also stated the Red Devils will have to agree terms with Aston Villa to conclude the operation.

Sources close to the Aston Villa player told Olé that it’s not a given he’ll join Manchester United today.

Het Laatste Nieuws report the latest on the Red Devils’ pursuit of Lammens, who is also of interest to Aston Villa and Galatasaray.

It’s claimed Manchester United have agreed personal terms with the 23-year-old Belgian, who will soon be flying to England. Ruben Amorim’s side are yet to find an agreement with the Jupiler Pro League club.

To sum it up, Manchester United have agreed personal terms with the World Cup winner and Lammens, but not with their respective clubs.

HLN claim the Old Trafford club are yet to decide between Martínez and the Royal Antwerp player. The latter’s entourage are anxiously waiting for their decision.

Aston Villa and Galatasaray are still in the race, and Unai Emery’s side can advance to sign Lammens if Manchester United decide to sign Martínez.

Whether Manchester United have actually agreed personal terms or if Royal Antwerp are using them to put pressure on Aston Villa remains to be seen.
