Manchester United have agreed personal terms with Royal Antwerp shot-stopper Senne Lammens.
Ruben Amorim has been in the market for a goalkeeper this summer after seemingly losing trust in Andre Onana. Onana was injured over the summer, but after making his return to first-team training, he has been overlooked by his boss.
Instead, Altay Bayındır has started between the sticks - but his performances have fallen under criticism from fans. And United have been heavily linked with Lammens and Aston Villa's World Cup winner Emi Martinez.
Lammens has now agreed personal terms with the Red Devils, according to The Athletic, but there is not yet a club-to-club agreement on a transfer.
The report adds that the 23-year-old would have to travel to Manchester this morning if the deal has a realistic chance of completion ahead of this evening's transfer deadline.

Aston Villa are also keeping tabs on the situation, with Lammens a possible replacement for Martinez if the Argentine moves to Amorim's side.
According to The Guardian, the Belgian is viewed as someone who could dislodge Onana or Bayindir and become the club’s No.1 on a long-term basis.
However, with Lammens not being given any guarantees of a first-team place under Amorim, there is acknowledgement at United that he may be reluctant to join.
