Everton are hoping to add the finishing touches to a busy summer on transfer deadline day.
SC Freiburg midfielder Merlin Rohl is a target for Everton in the closing hours of the window, and talks have already begun.
David Moyes is keen to add further reinforcements to his squad on Monday, with the Toffees having enjoyed the fruits of their business so far this season.
Everton beat Wolves 3-2 on Saturday, with one of their signings, Jack Grealish, continuing his strong form since the move from Manchester City.
Grealish has broken an Everton assist record, becoming the first Toffee to provide two assists in back-to-back Premier League games.

Merlin Rohl could cost Everton £17.3million
Rohl has landed on Merseyside ahead of talks with Everton, with a deal that would see the German join progressing quickly.
The 23-year-old made 19 appearances in the Bundesliga last season, providing one assist as he struggled against numerous injuries.
The season before that, however, saw Rohl score three goals and provide four assists for Freiburg, in what was a strong season for the midfielder.

He would not be expected to walk into Moyes’ starting line-up, but would provide competition and depth for a player such as Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall.
Rohl is also very versatile, having played across the front line for Freiburg, as well as behind the striker and in a deeper box-to-box role.
Paul Joyce reported on Monday 1 September that the deal could cost £17.3million, which would take Everton’s summer spending to around £128m.
Merlin Rohl could develop into excellent player
As well as performing for Freiburg, Rohl also plays for the Germany under-21 national team, featuring at the U21 Euros in June.
The midfielder bagged a goal in the quarter-final as his team beat Italy, and played much of the final as Germany were beaten by England.
The 23-year-old is raw and may not be quite ready for Premier League football, but Everton will have firm eyes on his potential.
Rohl is still developing, and given his versatility, could be moulded into a strong option in several positions of Moyes’ squad.
