It has already been a busy start to deadline day at Everton.
Everton News understands that Everton are locked in talks over Merlin Rohl, with a move from SC Freiburg nearing.
There could still be some exits on the cards, but Nathan Patterson is now expected to stay at Everton despite his agreement to join Sevilla.
It has been a summer of turnover on Merseyside, but more departures cannot be ruled out, with one expected to go through on deadline day.

Everton set to sanction Tyler Onyango sale to Stockport County
Earlier this summer, it was suggested that Everton would offload Tyler Onyango to Stockport County.
This was before the club departed for their pre-season tour of the United States.
MORE EVERTON STORIES
Taking to social media on deadline day, Alan Myers has claimed Onyango will be departing Finch Farm for the League One side.
‘Expecting Tyler Onyango to join Stockport County today, good luck to him!’ said the Sky Sports reporter.
Not the biggest of departures, but one that will see an Everton prospect depart the club on a permanent basis.
As for other departures, it has been suggested that Harrison Armstrong could leave Everton on a loan deal for the 2025/26 campaign.
On top of that, Youssef Chermiti is also set to join Rangers, with a deal already agreed between the clubs.
Everton plotting a new midfield addition
Although it will not be a direct replacement for Onyango, Everton are keen to sign a new midfielder before the deadline.
Talks are ongoing over a deal for Rohl, with Everton expected to pay around £17m to sign Rohl from SC Freiburg.
That will mark another major piece of business for the Blues, with the Friedkins showing they mean business in their first summer on Merseyside.
Defensive additions may also be on the agenda, with Jarrad Branthwaite remaining sidelined through his respective injury.
It has been an exciting start to the season for Everton, and further signings would only boost the mood as the international break kicks in.
