Ipswich Town are set to sign Manchester City starlet Luca Fletcher in a loan with an obligation to buy deal, according to Fabrizio Romano.
Ipswich Town are eager to mount a push for an immediate return to the Premier League after last season’s relegation. The pressure is on ITFC to deliver, but their start to the campaign has been poor.
The Tractor Boys are out to add to the ranks late in the summer transfer window though, with deadline day deals in and out of the club in the offing.

Now, it seems one prospect set to make a move to Portman Road is Manchester City’s Luca Fletcher.
Writing on X, transfer guru Fabrizio Romano has said that Ipswich Town have agreed a deal to bring Fletcher in from the Premier League title hopefuls.

The move will see the 18-year-old initially move to ITFC on loan, but the agreement includes an obligation to make the move permanent. Fletcher makes the move as he hopes to break into senior football.
Manchester City will hold a sell-on clause and a buy-back option, protecting them in the future if Fletcher proves to be a big hit in East Anglia.
