‘Alexander Isak is extremely professional and has a good mentality’ – Jon Dahl Tomasson

Jon Dahl Tomasson has been quizzed about Alexander Isak after the news that Liverpool and Newcastle United had agreed a new transfer record for a Premier League club buying a player.

The Sweden head coach had named three Newcastle United players in his squad for the September internationals.

Anthony Elanga, Alexander Isak and Emil Krafth calledup.

Now Jon Dahl Tomasson has confirmed Alexander Isak is still in the UK for his medical and to complete his transfer to Liverpool.

However, the former Newcastle United striker of the 1990s says he has spoken to Alexander Isak both on Sunday and Monday, expecting now he will link up with the national team later today.

Despite the shameful behaviour exhibited by the striker, Jon Dahl Tomasson claiming; “Alexander Isak is extremely professional and has a good mentality.”

At the same time, Tomasson forced to admit that Alexander Isak isn’t currently capable of playing 90 minutes, due to unprofessional behaviour and dubious mentality, that saw Isak refuse to play or train with Newcastle United.

_“I spoke to Alex yesterday and this morning._

_“We expect him here today._ 

_“Alexander Isak is extremely professional and has a good mentality._

_“He is very stable and controlled._

_“We have no worries_

_“He’s not able to play for 90 minutes._

_“But he can be a game-changer.”_
