Liverpool have reportedly reached a full agreement with Aston Villa over the transfer of Harvey Elliott, and the value of the Lions' obligation to buy has also been revealed.
The former Fulham starlet had been tipped to leave the Reds all summer long after struggling for game time under Arne Slot, whom he has played just seven minutes under this season.
Elliott was a late substitute in the Community Shield defeat to Crystal Palace, before also only coming on in the dying embers of his side's 3-2 win over Newcastle United in the Premier League.
With Mohamed Salah signing a new contract, Florian Wirtz arriving in a record deal - at least until Alexander Isak is signed - and Rio Ngumoha emerging from the youth academy, Elliott has become surplus to requirements at Anfield.
The playmaker was not short of interest throughout the summer, and up until recently, it appeared that RB Leipzig were best-placed to secure a deal for his services.

However, Aston Villa quickly jumped to the head of the queue, and Fabrizio Romano now reports that terms have been agreed between Liverpool and the Lions over a loan deal with an obligation for a permanent move.
The Reds will apparently receive a 'guaranteed' £35m for Elliott, a staggering profit of over 200% on the £1.5m they paid Fulham for the 22-year-old in 2019.
Elliott will leave Liverpool having been one appearance shy of representing the club 150 times, ultimately turning out 149 times for the Premier League champions and registering 15 goals and 20 assists.
The England Under-21 international has won eight major honours during his time on Merseyside, including two Premier League crowns and the Club World Cup, but he started just two top-flight games during the Reds' run to glory last season.
Could Liverpool sell anyone else on deadline day?

There should not be a higher-profile exit from Anfield than Elliott in the hours that remain on deadline day, but the playmaker might not be the only fringe player in Slot's ranks to seek out opportunities elsewhere.
The future of Joe Gomez is still clouded in uncertainty, even though proposed moves to Crystal Palace - as part of a deal for Marc Guehi - and AC Milan appear to have fallen through.
Furthermore, Rhys Williams, Calvin Ramsay and Stefan Bajcetic are struggling for both fitness and opportunities at the club, and it will be intriguing to see if any developments occur with the trio in the coming hours.
On the incomings front, meanwhile, Isak was recently pictured arriving for his medical, while a key detail surrounding Guehi's possible tests has emerged amid the 'expectation' that he will sign for the Reds.
