Manchester United players have made their feelings clear regarding Alejandro Garnacho.
The Argentina forward, 21, left United to join Chelsea - earlier this week - after completing a £40million transfer to Stamford Bridge. Following his exit, Garnacho posted a candid video on social media, in it thanking United for their help in shaping his career to this point.
"Dear Manchester. After an unforgettable five years, this special chapter in my life now comes to a close," he began on Instagram. "We have created moments that will stay with me forever, and I'm very grateful for this.
"To the coaches, staff, and my teammates, thank you for believing in me.
"Every time I wore the badge, I gave everything I had."I leave proud of what we achieved together and I'm also excited for what's to come. Wishing the club nothing but success for the future, while I look forward to giving my all in the next chapter of my career."
Kobbie Mainoo could be seen adding a comment, which is no surprise given the close relationship the pair shared.
"All the best bro," wrote the England international - who himself had been linked with a move away in recent days.
"All the best hermano," added ex-United defender, Sam Murray, who joined National League side Carlisle United earlier this year. Matthijs de Ligt, Bruno Fernandes, Joshua Zirkzee, Ramus Hojlund, Mainoo, Toby Collyer and Dan Gore are all United names who had 'liked' the post, but comments appeared sparse.
Garnacho had tarnished his status at United somewhat with a falling out with Ruben Amorim last season, after he was snubbed to start the Europa League final. His liking of social media posts suggesting he ought to have started the game caused a stir and, thus, an exit had been on the cards ever since.
