Fulham reach full agreement to sign 22-year-old Brazilian winger, details revealed

Marco Silva’s Fulham reportedly have an agreement in place to sign 22-year-old Shakhtar Donetsk attacking sensation Kevin.

According to an update by reputed Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, Kevin is set to join Fulham from Shakhtar Donetsk after the West London club reached a full agreement with both the Ukrainian club and the player. The final package is worth €45 million, including add-ons.

Kevin came up the ranks at Palmeiras and just months after getting promoted to their first team, Shakhtar secured his services. During his 18-month-long spell at the Ukrainian club, the 22-year-old winger has been involved in 57 matches and has contributed towards 27 goals.

The South American made a sensational start to the new season. Kevin was involved in five European qualifiers, and he ended up contributing towards seven goals. His sensational performances have not gone unnoticed, as multiple top clubs have been keen on signing the Brazilian winger.

While the player still has three years left on his deal, Shakhtar were open to a potential departure as long as their demands were met. Fulham emerged as favourites for his signature. The Cottagers seek more quality on the flanks, and they consider Kevin an ideal signing to bolster their attack.

Marco Silva has been desperate to have more options on the left flank with Alex Iwobi, the only out-and-out left winger in his squad. While they have been linked with a number of forwards, nothing concrete has happened.

Fulham sign Kevin on deadline day

Kevin emerged as a priority target late in the window, and they have managed to strike a deal with the Ukrainian outfit. The Cottagers have a full agreement in place to sign the 22-year-old. The player has already given the green light to the move, as he is keen on playing in the Premier League.

Fulham will pay €40 million as a fixed fee with another €5 million as add-ons. The Brazilian forward will be signing a long-term deal with Marco Silva’s team. While there was significant interest in his services from Sporting, the Premier League outfit have won the race and there should be an official announcement in the next hours.
