Club confirm they have signed'brilliant'Man Utd youngster on loan, praise his goal'instincts'

Manchester United have been incredibly busy on transfer deadline day, with exits taking the majority of the headlines.

After a summer that saw heavy spending by Manchester United in attack, deadline day has primarily been centered around trimming that department, considering minutes will be limited this season with no Europe.

Antony has returned to Real Betis on a permanent move for a fee of around £22m, after a summer of negotiations.

Meanwhile, United have also managed to send Jadon Sancho to Aston Villa on loan, with the Villains paying at least 80 per cent of his wages.

Additionally, Rasmus Hojlund has departed on loan to Napoli, with the Serie A holders having an obligation to buy.

Now, adding to these names, a talented young forward has made his loan exit.

Fleetwood Town confirm Ethan Ennis loan

While the big names will take the headlines for United’s deadline day, seeing young academy talents head on loan to get regular senior football is always exciting.

Now, Ethan Ennis has joined the list of loanees for this season, heading to Fleetwood Town for the coming campaign, the club announced on Monday evening.

In the confirmation, League Two outfit Fleetwood labelled Ennis as being ‘highly rated’, and he will be hoping that this loan leads to more success than he had for Doncaster.

In an article furthering the news on Fleetwood’s official website, the club wrote an excellent description for their fans of who Ennis is as a player.

“Ethan is a dynamic and technically gifted winger, lauded for his brilliant quality on the ball, eye for a creative pass, and brilliant instincts in front of goal.”

Ennis set for a make-or-break loan as Manchester United are watching

Ennis is a really exciting talent; however, he turns 21 in December, and the chances of making it at United are probably looking unlikely.

However, Ennis will be desperate to put in a strong campaign for Fleetwood, which could earn him a bigger move in the future, such as a Championship switch next summer.

On the other hand, if Ennis is able to score and assist as freely as he did for the U21s, then he could get himself a place in Ruben Amorim’s team next summer.

It is a huge season for the former Liverpool wonderkid.
