Antony – permanent

Manchester United have confirmed Antony has been sold to La Liga side Real Betis.

Antony spent time on loan at Real Betis last season and quickly became a fan favourite. He was determined to re-sign there, turning down interest from Turkey and the Saudi Pro League.

Manchester United receive a total of £21.6 million, a huge loss on the figure paid for him.

United also have a 50 per cent sell-on clause, opening up the possibility of a financial boost later down the line.

Antony has moved to Real Betis in a permanent transfer.

We thank Antony for his efforts during his time as a Red and wish him the best of luck for the future 🤝

Harry Amass – loan

Promising left-back Harry Amass joins the growing list of players out on loan, signing with Sheffield Wednesday for the season.

It is a good opportunity for Amass, 18, to play first team football at a high level, after making his Manchester United debut last season.

The former Watford talent had fallen down the pecking order following the arrival of Diego Leon.

A chance to gain experience in the Championship 🫡

Best of luck at Sheffield Wednesday, Harry 🤝
