How To Scan Your Face In NBA 2K26 For MyPLAYER

NBA 2K26 has arrived, and so is our favorite game mode: MyCAREER. One of the most exciting activities when playing a new NBA 2K game is creating your MyPLAYER. In the most recent games, we've been able to scan our faces to bring our likeness into the game, making our MyPLAYER look exactly like us in real life - or at least that's the intention. Your mileage might vary.

In the past few years, scanning your face has become as easy as humanly possible thanks to the NBA 2K Companion App. Apart from seamlessly linking your phone to your console, and easily claiming locker codes without opening your PS5, the Companion App also allows you to scan your face using your phone. That's right, if you've not been using this app before, then the good news for you is that you don't need to hook up a camera on your console anymore to scan your face.

To scan your face, simply open your NBA 2K Companion App and log in to your account. Find the NBA 2K button at the upper right side of the screen, and then select NBA 2K26. Then, select the Face Scan option at the main menu. Scan your face and save the data, which will then allow you to load your Face Scan data when prompted on NBA 2K26.

Go back to NBA 2K26 and select load face scan data when prompted when creating your MyPLAYER

Having your face scan uploaded into the game is just one of the cool things you can do to make your MyPLAYER. NBA 2K26 actually added new features to the MyPLAYER Creator, making the character creator tool more versatile than ever before.
