Tristan Vukcevic, the Serbian NBA big man, shared his thoughts on the matchup and the challenge of containing Turkey’s star center Alperen Sengun.

“Yeah, they're playing very good. Saw a couple of games, they're in good rhythm, they share the ball,” Vukcevic said in a post-game press conference. “Sengun is having an amazing tournament. We have to limit him, he's playing outside-inside, he can pop, he can pass the ball.”

Vukcevic emphasized the importance of detailed scouting and defensive preparation.

“So we have to scout him very good so we can limit him and make a difficult night for him,” he added.

Sengun is putting up impressive numbers at EuroBasket 2025, averaging 20.0 points, 8.8 rebounds, and 6.5 assists per game while shooting an efficient 68.1% from the field.

Serbia is set to face Turkey on September 3rd at 20:15 CET in what promises to be a thrilling clash between two undefeated teams in Group A at EuroBasket 2025.
