Today is Labor Day in the United States, a national holiday meant to celebrate the contributions of workers from sea to sea. As many of you are enjoying the day off, here’s a question for you.
Trail Blazers history has been littered with blue-collar workers, from Maurice Lucas and Buck Williams to Joel Przybilla and Mason Plumlee. Blazers fans have always appreciated players who go hard and get their hands dirty.
Though I can name you dozens of examples from the past, I’m wondering today who you think the best current example of a blue-collar Trail Blazers worker is? Obviously the real answer would be the custodians and merch sellers at the Moda Center, but I mean the blue-collar analogy on the court. Which Trail Blazers player is the most down-and-dirty, doing the little things, always showing up and never backing down guy to you?
