The summer transfer window has closed and I won’t miss it one bit.
Late incomings have been much-needed and we have ended the window stronger than we started it, even if we’ve lost our £125m sulking striker in the process.
Deadline day saw Yoane Wissa complete a £55m move from Brentford as he landed the famous number nine shirt, but Will Osula saw a proposed switch to Frankfurt collapse, despite suggestions a £30m switch was close earlier in the day.
A few late loans were also secured and there is a chance more outgoings emerge, with paperwork submitted and other windows still open until next week.
