Over the course of his 17-year career, Darren Bent has played at plenty of stadiums, and has now admitted his admiration for Wolves’ Molineux.
While he never played for Wolves, he has come up against them on a lot of occasions. He has been on the opposing team 14 times.
On its best days, Molineux can be a difficult ground for teams to come, but this season, that has not been the case.
Vitor Pereira’s side have had a terrible transfer window, and Wolves fans are worried about the future of the manager now.
However, while it won’t be much, they could take some solace in what Darren Bent has now said.

Darren Bent is a player who has frequented the pitch at Molineux quite a few times.
He has been there both as a player as well as a pundit. Most recently, he attended Wolves 3-2 loss to Everton.
Speaking on TalkSPORT, the former striker spoke about the ground, and he had quite a lot of positives to say.

Bent said, ‘[It’s a] nice, lovely stadium… I have always enjoyed going there, not only to work, but even as a player.’
‘I always like going there. Old-school, old fashioned stadium, supporters always quite lively in there. It is a lovely place to go.’

There is also no wonder that the Englishman has a fond memory of Wolves’ home ground due to one memory he holds close to him.
In 2016, he scored a phenomenal volley against the Old Gold as Derby went on to win 3-2 on the day. Even when speaking on TalkSPORT, it was clear that the striker loves the goal he scored.
Wolves fans of course, won’t have the best memories of Bent, as he often did well against them. However, the kind words about supporters should see him receive a warm welcome any time he returns as a pundit.
