Disgraceful from Alexander Isak in classless Liverpool interview – Wor Flags hit back

There will come a time soon when we stop talking about Alexander Isak. But it’s impossible to ignore the ongoing lack of respect we’ve seen from the classless Swede.

Across his seven-minute interview after joining Liverpool, his social media posts since signing and his official statement on their official website, the 25-year-old has not had a single word of thanks, love or respect to Newcastle fans. Much like his statement last month, where fans deserved at least some word of apology, we are ignored.

A lot has gone on this summer between him and Newcastle, but this is a fanbase that idolised him, sang his name, spent hours and thousands of pounds on flag displays. To totally blank us is a disgrace.

Wor Flags have hit back at his classless actions over the past month, releasing this short but cutting post accompanied by two tributes dedicated to him in previous seasons:

‘You were idolised and adored by every generation of our brilliant fan base, legendary status.

‘You have shown your true colours and thrown it right back in the face of those same supporters.

‘Good riddance.

Isak’s lack of respect or care is telling, although that is quite fitting with his behaviour towards the end of last season and all summer.

Here is what the selfish Swede had to say after signing for Liverpool:

“I feel amazing. It’s been a long journey to get here. But I’m super-happy to be a part of this team, this club and everything it stands for.

“It’s something I’m proud of and I’m really looking forward to it. I’m just happy it’s done and that I can get back to work. I’m looking forward to seeing my teammates and the fans, and getting back out there.”

“I think I have a lot to give, I think I have a lot to improve. I’m a striker but I always want to give as much as possible to the team, mainly goals but much more than that as well.

“I want to win everything. Yeah, [as simple as that].”

🗣️🎙️ “How does it feel to look down and see the Liver Bird on your shirt?”

🗣️ 🇸🇪 “Relief, love, pride and happiness.”

Genuine quotes.
