Two Man Utd players could leave with Turkish & Saudi transfer windows open

Manchester United had a promising summer transfer window with five signings.

The primary focus was on bolstering the attacking department for the 2025/26 campaign.

Matheus Cunha, Bryan Mbeumo and Benjamin Sesko were signed to strengthen the frontline.

Alongside them, defender Diego Leon and goalkeeper Senne Lammens were signed.

Lammens is a highly-rated goalkeeper and his arrival could coincide with a possible exit.

Andre Onana and Altay Bayindir have had starts in goal this campaign, but both have made errors.

The former was the subject of interest from Galatasaray, but nothing materialised in the end.

The Cameroonian has made the decision to fight for his place with Sammens this season.

However, the same may not be the case with Bayindir.

While Onana is an assured starter for Cameroon regardless of his playing time, Bayindir needs regular first-team football to push for a starting berth with Turkey.

With the World Cup coming up next year, the 27-year-old may not want to miss out due to the lack of regular minutes behind Lammens and Onana this term.

Hence, we won’t be surprised if he pushes for the exit door.

The Eredivisie transfer window does not close until 11pm BST tonight. The Belgian and Turkish windows are open until September 8 and September 12 respectively.

The Saudi Pro League does not close its window until the 23rd of September.

In our view, Bayindir could contemplate a possible return to the Super Lig. Galatasaray could turn to Bayindir after failing to persuade Onana into a transfer.

Meanwhile, Tyrell Malacia could also head for the exit door.

The Dutchman was linked with a possible loan move to Elche before yesterday’s deadline, but talks collapsed after all parties failed to agree on including a buy clause at the end of the season.

There is a possibility that he could contemplate a return to the Eredivisie today, having previously featured for PSV and Feyenoord. He was on loan with the former last campaign.
