Manchester City confirm €14M Ederson departure to Fenerbahce

**Ederson has completed a permanent transfer to Turkish side Fenerbahce pending international clearance, Manchester City have confirmed.**

The 31-year-old has been the fulcrum of City’s success under Pep Guardiola, having played an instrumental role in the club’s success in England over the years and their maiden UEFA Champions League title won in 2023.

Signed from Benfica for £34 million in the summer of 2017, Ederson spent eight seasons at the Etihad Stadium and has been one of Guardiola’s best signings as Manchester City manager, with the Brazil international leaving City as he entered the final year of his deal.

Fenerbahce have won the race to sign the in-demand Brazilian, who had also attracted interest from Galatasaray and after failing to engineer a move to Saudi Arabia last summer, the six-time Premier League winner has started a new chapter after eight seasons in Manchester.

**This is a developing story. More to follow.**
