Getafe president Ángel Torres has been filmed clashing with the club’s fans after selling Christantus Uche to Crystal Palace on deadline day.

They say that Torres was busy speaking to the media gathered near the club’s stadium, analysing what has been a crazy end of the window for his side with three departures, one arrival and plenty of registrations.
While there he clashed with several fans, who were calling for reinforcements after Uche’s departure to Crystal Palace.
_“Of course it’s sad, but life goes on. Keep calm and trust in me,”_ he responded when asked directly about the Nigerian’s departure, which Marca say was forced by the club’s financial situation.
Whether that’s enough to convince the Getafe fans remains to be seen. They’ll have been left less than impressed with the goings on at Getafe this summer, particularly from Torres.
He’s been erratic, to say the least, at one-point last week insisting he hadn’t met Uche’s agent for talks despite the agent being spotted at the ground and confirming those talks on the same day.
Torres has not come out of this summer looking sharp or smelling of roses and work is now needed to restore faith after Crystal Palace secured Uche on deadline day.
