Yoane Wissa speaks about his love for Brentford in first interview with Newcastle United as new …

**Yoane Wissa finally got his move to Newcastle United on transfer deadline day after Brentford accepted a £55 million fee for the Concolese forward.**

Like the Alexander Isak drama, Yoane Wissa's transfer was a prolonged saga that involved the player going on strike to force the move and releasing a statement to outline their position.

While we absolutely do not condone these power moves by the players, there was a stark contrast in the way that both players went about things, which is worth remembering.

Indeed, that contrast continued as both strikers had their first interviews with their new clubs.

Yoane Wissa made the effort to acknowledge Brentford in his interview with Newcastle United

When Wissa downed tools, he spoke to the club bout it first. He held meetings with sporting director Phil Giles. When he released his statement, he went into detail explaining his decision and acknowledging the Brentford fans. Alexander Isak did none of these things.

In Wissa's first interview with Newcastle, the 28-year-old took the time to speak about his love for Brentford and insisted that he tried to do everything in a respectful way.

> "They had their argument, I had mine. But the most important thing is that it was always respectful."

Alexander Isak hasn't even said the word 'Newcastle' yet it seems

Meanwhile, it's still crickets from the Isak camp.

At least Wissa took the time to acknowledge Brentford and the fans again after his move. You'd think that now he's got his way, we'd have some acknowledgement, some form of apology or anything from Isak, but nah, he's all about himself.

He may be an outstanding player, but he's definitely not the character we want around our club. Again, we don't agree with what Wissa did to get his move to Newcastle, but at least he's shown some humility during and after the process.
