Alejandro Garnacho has not been at Chelsea for long, but he has already annoyed one former Manchester United player.
Chelsea signed Garnacho from United over the weekend, and the winger was at Stamford Bridge for his new side’s game against Fulham.
Garnacho had actually not been announced as a Chelsea player at that point, but his appearance at the match all but confirmed his move to west London.
Garnacho was spotted alongside Willian, who was in attendance to watch two of his former clubs face off.

Ben Foster slams Alejandro Garnacho for being on phone during Chelsea vs Fulham
There was one moment during Saturday’s west London derby where Garnacho was seen doing something on his phone.
It was a scene that Ben Foster really did not like, with the ex-United goalkeeper urging him to be more “professional”.
Speaking about that moment on his YouTube channel, Foster said: “I remember if ever you weren’t playing, right, and you’re watching the game, you make sure that you have eyes on the game and you watch the game and you are not seen messing about on your phone or whatever like that. Be professional, keep it professional.”

Others have been much more positive about Garnacho, including his new teammate Joao Pedro.
Pedro is excited about Garnacho’s arrival, labelling the 21-year-old a “brilliant player”. Garnacho could actually make his Chelsea debut in a west London derby, with Enzo Maresca‘s men taking on Brentford at the Gtech Community Stadium next.
He could bring a lot of excitement to Stamford Bridge this season. In the past, former United manager Erik ten Hag has talked up Garnacho’s dribbling skills.

Alejandro Garnacho criticism over the top
Over the past 12 months, some of the criticism that Garnacho has received has been warranted.
In one game last season, Garnacho headed straight down the tunnel after being substituted, which is never a good look.
Now, though, the criticism he is taking just seems unfair. Being on his phone for a brief minute during a football game is not worth any attention.
It feels like there is a bit of a target on his back, which hopefully motivates the Argentina international to perform well at Chelsea and prove his critics wrong.
