The agent of Alexander Isak has sent an ominous response after the former Newcastle United man joined Liverpool.
In the late hours of deadline day, the deal was finally confirmed, Alexander Isak had joined Liverpool for a British record transfer fee.
Newcastle United will receive a staggering £125m from Liverpool, doubling the money they paid for him in 2022. However, the relationship between the player and the club has deteriorated as a result of the move, with Isak refusing to play for Newcastle until he got his move away.
It was clear that Newcastle fans lost trust in Isak and preferred it if they were sold before the transfer window closed. The 25-year-old got his wish by joining Liverpool, but must now live up to the astronomical fee paid for him.
Isak’s agent appears to have played a big part in getting the deal through, and has now spoken out after its completion.

Alexander Isak’s agent takes a subtle dig at Newcastle United after Liverpool move
Newcastle insiders claimed that they were aware that something was up with Isak during their training camp in Austria. That was around a week before it was revealed he wanted to leave the club.
It has been a wild summer on Tyneside, with Isak’s transfer situation at the forefront. Now the deal has gone through, pundits and presenters are trying to get in touch with Vlado Lemic, Isak’s agent.
The 59-year-old played a major role in getting Isak to move to Liverpool and unsettle him to the point that he was desperate to leave Newcastle.

As the dust settles, Jim White has shared a message sent from Lemic on TalkSPORT.
“Well I may as well bring it to air. Vlado Lemic, Alexander Isak’s agent. Just asking him for a comment this morning, does he want to join us?
“He’s come back with a very short quote.
“It’s nice when you have someone to be with, but it’s even nicer when you know who you’ll never be with again.”
Newcastle United must quickly adapt to life without Alexander Isak
Lemic’s line is damning and a sign that the relationship between the parties had completely broken down. In the end, it seems Isak was desperate for the move away, which he got.
However, Newcastle fans will never forget his actions throughout the summer transfer window, and those inside other clubs will also surely be keeping a close eye on how he conducts himself in the future.
With that being said, Isak is Liverpool’s problem now. Newcastle are getting a big payday from his sale, which will help them improve significantly in the future.
Isak is now a thing of the past on Tyneside, despite the incredible memories he was part of during his three-year spell at Newcastle. Hopefully, the likes of Nick Woltemade and Yoane Wissa can help fans forget Isak even quicker by hitting the ground running after their moves.
It was clear that Isak had become a burden over the last month; press conferences were full of questions about the Swede, which Eddie Howe was still happy to answer. Now, the focus can go back to the football and getting results on the pitch.
