Chelsea international call-ups and schedules for September 2025

A number of Blues will be in action for their countries over the next week, with several big qualifying matches for next year's FIFA World Cup taking place on both sides of the Atlantic.

Those looking to book their place at the 2026 World Cup are in very different stages of their qualifying campaigns. In South America, the final qualification matches take place during the forthcoming international break, with Argentina, Brazil and Ecuador having already secured their places at the tournament.

In Europe, several groups are reaching the halfway stage in qualifying, while our Danish, French, Portuguese and Spanish internationals are among those playing their first matches this week.

That is in addition to the start of qualifying for the next UEFA European Under-21 Championship and a number of mini-tournaments for our younger players.

You can see a full breakdown of the Chelsea players called up by their countries and the games they will be hoping to feature in below. All kick-off times and dates are for the UK (BST).

Brazil

After helping Chelsea to triumph at the FIFA Club World Cup, Andrey Santos joins Estevao Willian and Joao Pedro in Brazil's senior squad for their final two qualifying matches. They need to better Ecuador's results to finish second in the table.
