AIK youngster Kevin Filling has insisted he’s not interested in rumours about a potential move to Manchester United or Tottenham Hotspur.
[Fotboll Skanalen](https://www.fotbollskanalen.se/allsvenskan/fillings-svar-efter-united-ryktet-jag-fokuserar-pa-aik/) cover comments from the 16-year-old today in which he’s asked about interest from Manchester United and Tottenham, and a potential move to in future.
The youngster is very much at the beginning of his career but is already making waves, with a goal to his name already in two appearances for AIK’s first team.
He’s a product of their youth team, joining them in 2023 and rising rapidly through the ranks since, playing for the U17s and U19s and spending time on loan at Enköpings SK, where he managed one goal in three games and 84 minutes of action.
He was handed his debut in the third tier in May and a month later was debuting in the Allsvenskan in the 3-0 win over IFK Göteborg.
He is the second youngster player to debut in the league at 16 years, six months and 30 days old but does top the youngest goal scorer chart after a strike on his debut.
That’s reportedly earned him attention from Europe, with Manchester United and Tottenham named among the suitors, but he’s not entertaining those rumours.
“I try not to think about it in any special way,” he said.
“I just look at where I am now. I’m at AIK and I continue here every training session. I’m going to get better as a person and as a player. That’s where I am (in my mind).
“For me, it feels pretty simple. Because that’s who I am as a person. That’s for others to handle.”
