Footballer Jadon Sancho appears to have confirmed his romance with singer and rapper Saweetie following months of rumours. The pair were initially spotted together in January this year when she visited his football ground at Stamford Bridge. Jadon, 25, and Saweetie, 32, were photographed greeting each other with an embrace as she was seen grinning widely.
Supporters were baffled by the rapper's appearance as she had never previously demonstrated any interest in Chelsea FC, sparking questions about her connection with Jadon. Further evidence emerged when a photograph was captured of Jadon alongside his team-mates, revealing his phone's lock screen featured none other than Saweetie, virtually confirming the surprising relationship.
Neither Jadon nor Saweetie have officially acknowledged the romance and seem to be maintaining privacy regarding their personal lives. The couple's bond appears to be intensifying as he recently revealed a tattoo dedicated to her.
On August 14, the athlete's tattoo artist disclosed that the duo had visited his parlour for matching inkwork. He shared an image of the two as she admires his fresh tattoo positioned behind his ear. He wrote: "Just wanna show our appreciation to you and your girlfriend."
Jadon had Saweetie's middle name, Quiava, etched beneath his left ear alongside the phrase "her only" on his hand.
Sancho and Saweetie's representatives have been contacted for comment. Details about his romantic life emerge following Jadon's loan move to Aston Villa after four years with Manchester United, with Villa covering 80 per cent of his £200,000 weekly salary.
The loan arrangement's terms will hinge on Jadon's on-field displays this season. The winger rejected advances from Roma during the transfer window and was reportedly courted by Juventus and Besiktas.
