Early access to “NBA 2K26” began Friday, and those playing the video game were granted an early look at Jayson Tatum‘s next signature sneaker from Jordan Brand.
The Jordan Tatum 4 bears a strong resemblance to its direct predecessor, but with its wavy lines now appearing a bit more streamlined. Whereas there were two smaller oblong openings on the midsole at the ball of the foot and midfoot for the Jordan Tatum 3, there’s now just one much larger space at the midfoot that appears to host a stabilizer. Fewer lines are used through the upper in midsole, with just four centering on a tear drop-like shape at the center. A big no. 0 moves up from the midsole’s heel to that of the upper, and the “JT” logo retains its spot on the tongue.

Jordan Brand launched the Jordan Tatum 3 last October 2024 with a just under two weeks to spare before the NBA season. It boasts a Cushlon 3.0 foam midsole with a forefoot Zoom Air unit and is widely considered Tatum’s best signature sneaker from both an aesthetic and performance perspective.
It’s very well possible that Tatum never ends up playing in the Jordan Tatum 4 in the NBA, as he could miss the entirety of the 2025-2026 season because of the achilles injury he suffered during the playoffs. Should that be the case, the next time he’s seen in a professional game could be in the Jordan Tatum 5.
The Jordan Tatum 4 is expected to release October 23 in a “Glow Green” and black colorway, different from the one shown in NBA 2K. Official word from Jordan Brand should come in the following weeks with more information.
