Manchester United have had one of their best summer transfer windows in recent memory, and it all culminated in a busy Deadline Day which has arguably left Ruben Amorim with four games to save his job.
The Red Devils made five first-team signings during the summer as Diego Leon, Matheus Cunha, Bryan Mbeumo and Benjamin Sesko were joined by goalkeeper Senne Lammens in the final hours of the window, taking the club's spending up to £216m not including add-ons.
But it was the exits, with the majority coming on Deadline Day that have made the window so great from the perspective of fans at Old Trafford.
Marcus Rashford joined Barcelona on a season-long loan deal early in the window after his fallout with the manager, while Alejandro Garnacho signed for Chelsea in a deal worth £40m plus a 10% sell-on clause during the final week of the window. But Amorim also saw Rasmus Hojlund and Antony leave for Napoli and Real Betis permanently, while Jadon Sancho departed for Aston Villa on loan too.
All in all a great window, but it also means that the manager now has zero excuses when it comes to his squad, and after a poor start to the campaign, it's fair to say fans are expecting results.

The Portuguese coach already found himself under huge pressure before a ball was even kicked this season after the horror show that was the 2024/25 campaign, which culminated in a Europa League final defeat against Tottenham Hotspur in Bilbao.
Since then, Amorim's comments in the press have not helped his cause with fans. The ex-Sporting boss has repeatedly said that there will be suffering when it comes to results before things can get better, and he has even tried to justify that Spurs loss by saying the squad isn't ready for European football.
Add that to the defeats to Arsenal and Grimsby and a draw to Fulham in the first three games, followed by a narrow 3-2 win over newly-promoted Burnley at Old Trafford thanks to a 97th-minute Bruno Fernandes penalty in the most recent game, fans are demanding more.
After the defeat to Grimsby, Amorim suggested he could walk away from the job, before walking back his comments days later and blaming it on being an emotional person. But the international break may have offered a perfect opportunity for a parting of ways if things had got even worse against Burnley.
There will now be a small reset before the first game after the break, a Manchester derby against Man City at the Etihad Stadium - the first of a four-game run before the next break. United will face Chelsea, Brentford and Sunderland before the October internationals, and bad results in those games could be the end of Amorim's time at Old Trafford.
Fans will no longer accept excuses. The manager got everything he wanted in the summer barring a central midfielder, but having Fernandes, Kobbie Mainoo, Manuel Ugarte and Casemiro as options should be more than enough in most games.
He has a brand new attack which he assembled himself, so he can't use that excuse anymore. Defensively, the team set up with five at the back - his choice - and the new goalkeeper means there should be no more errors between the sticks either.
Amorim now knows he must deliver. The next four games could be his last if they go badly, because fans are already on edge and more bad performances could take him beyond the point of no return.
