Nottingham Forest moved to sign four new players on transfer deadline day, with Dilane Bakwa the pick of the bunch.
John Victor signed for Forest from Botafogo early in the day, with Cuiabano joining from the same club towards the end of the window, with both players bolstering the defensive unit.
Oleksandr Zinchenko was a surprise Forest signing late on deadline day, but it was perhaps the addition of Bakwa that proved the most exciting.
Bakwa spoke on his move to Forest and it appears that he’s excited to get going at the City Ground in the coming weeks under Nuno Espirito Santo.
The 23-year-old has a mature head on his young shoulders, it would seem, and he did something before signing that shows the Forest fans that he means business.

What Dilane Bakwa did that showed he means business at Forest
Quite clearly, this is viewed by Bakwa as a huge step up, and he made sure to make a good first impression when he came to sign for Forest.
The club shared a video showing behind-the-scenes footage of Bakwa’s medical and media footage, with the player going the extra mile on arrival.
Bakwa turned up in a shirt and tie with suit trousers on, and in the modern era, it feels like a classy touch for a young player to turn up so smartly dressed to sign for a football club.
MORE FOREST STORIES
It might feel like nothing to some people, but in this generation, it’s rare to see a young player turn up in such immaculate fashion, and it feels like Bakwa desperately wanted the move to Forest.
Bakwa can instantly become a first-team starter at Forest
With Dan Ndoye and Omari Hutchinson also signing this summer and Callum Hudson-Odoi already at the club, it’s an exciting time for Forest in the final third of the pitch.
Bakwa could actually be the best of the lot, however, and with six goals and nine assists last season, he could make an immediate impact in the Premier League.
The versatile 23-year-old could get fans out of their seats on Trentside and although Ndoye has broken a 27-year record in the first three games, Bakwa might eye his place from the off.
Bakwa clearly means business after arriving at the City Ground in his smart attire and already it feels like he will be a good character in the Forest dressing room.
