Manchester United have entered their first international break of the 2025/26 campaign with just three Premier League matches under their belt

Manchester United head coach Ruben Amorim will be able to give extra training sessions to ten members of his first-team during the first international break of the campaign.
United have had a mixed start to the campaign, with encouragement shown against Arsenal soon extinguished by the scoreline and a meagre draw at Fulham. Defeat to Grimsby Town in the Carabao Cup rocked the Reds, but they managed to get back on track Saturday with a 3-2 victory over Burnley.
Unfortunately for Amorim, any momentum he wishes to build from that victory over Scott Parker's side has been put on hold as most of his squad jets off around the globe for the September international break. For the majority of those who are with their national teams, the focus is on qualification for the World Cup in the USA, Canada and Mexico at the end of the season.
However, there are ten players who are healthy and shall be remaining in Manchester for extra training sessions at Carrington. A notable inclusion comes in the form of Senne Lammens, who only arrived at United on deadline day and has missed out on the Belgium squad.
Experienced defensive duo Harry Maguire and Luke Shaw missed out on Thomas Tuchel's England, as did midfielders Kobbie Mainoo and Mason Mount. They, along with Tom Heaton, Tyler Fredricson, Diego Leon, Noussair Mazraoui and Joshua Zirkzee, shall report to Carrington over the break to keep their fitness levels up for the return of the Premier League and a mouth-watering derby against Manchester City.
