Everton’s new Friedkin Group ownership have impressed in the short time they’ve been at the club.
Since taking over from Farhad Moshiri in December, the Friedkins have made some really big decisions, most notably the sacking of Sean Dyche.
Replacing Dyche with David Moyes has proved to be a masterstroke, as Everton are now a secure Premier League club looking upwards rather than towards relegation.
The American investors have also pumped investment into the academy, which was branded a ‘disgrace’ by a source close to the club earlier this year.
They have also just completed a target that was set in April, which will be revolutionary for the future of the football club.

The Friedkin Group complete revolutionary Everton target
Back in April, it emerged that the Friedkin Group were changing the transfer model at Everton.
They had identified that the previous model had resulted in the squad having one of the oldest average ages in the Premier League, only behind West Ham United and Fulham.
So, they set a goal this summer to drive down the average age with younger recruits, and they’ve completed that mission.

Everton’s nine additions had an average age of 24, with Tyler Dibling, Adam Aznou, Thierno Barry, Carlos Alcaraz and Merlin Rohl all 23 and under.
That means the club are now much better equipped to head into the forthcoming seasons without having to make wholesale changes each summer.
There are also plenty of sellable assets, which will help ease PSR concerns.
The Friedkin Group have ambitious plans for Everton
We spoke exclusively to Roma journalist Andrea Di Carlo when the Friedkins joined last year and he explained just how ambitious they are.
“But the Friedkins remain a very ambitious group, they want to excel in every field in which they invest, from cinema to sports, let alone in the most fascinating championship in the world like the Premier League.
“It will take some time but soon we will understand how their football galaxy (Roma, Everton and Cannes) will have the opportunity to develop.”
Di Carlo added: “And they will invest, without a doubt, as they have always done in Rome. Important investments in the transfer market, to strengthen the team to try to bring it permanently to the top of the league.”
So, there are certainly exciting times ahead for Evertonians.
