Mike Miller shared an anecdote that could describe why did Emmanuel Mudiay fail in the NBA as a lottery pick.
Mike Miller enjoyed a stellar 17-year career in the NBA, finishing his last two seasons with the Denver Nuggets.

For someone who works as hard as Miller does, it's painful when a young talented player doesn't want to put extra work in.
Miller had to endure that situation with the Nuggets, as ownership asked him to work with their latest Draft selection Emmanuel Mudiay on his shot.
Even though Miller didn't publicly reveal it was Mudiay, he gave hints that made it clear it was aimed at him.
"When I was in Denver for a couple of years, I won't mention the kid's name, but the ownership came to me and said that we need to work on this kid's jumper," Miller started at the OG's Show.
"Cool, I hit him up, I said I'll be in the hall tomorrow at 9, he shows up at 9:15, cool, young fella, I don't need this, you do, tomorrow at 9 again, he shows up at 9:30. "
"Young fella, listen to me, I'll get you one more chance again, tomorrow at 9, next scene, he's there at 9:45. I said to bosses, hey, this is not it now, and he was a lottery pick and he's now out of the league," Miller concluded.
