Timo Werner set to return to the RB Leipzig squad after snubbing Leeds United
Leipzig were prepared to sell Werner in the summer transfer as they wanted to get rid of some of the high earners from their squad.
Leeds and Burnley approached the former Chelsea striker in the summer, but the forward had no interest in joining the Premier League’s relegation scrap.
And according to German daily Bild, his decision to snub Leeds and Burnely is set to pay off in the coming days.

Werner has been asked to work hard in training if he wants to return to the Leipzig squad in the coming days. However, letting him leave has not been ruled out as the transfer window is still open in Saudi Arabia and Turkey.
“If something comes in, we remain open to discussion and solution-oriented”, Schafer said.
