Wednesday Headlines: Several Wildcats show up in another NBA Mock Draft

It’s still NBA Mock Draft season, and some more Cats are showing up in the latest one from [Bleacher Report](https://bleacherreport.com/articles/25240335-2026-nba-mock-draft-college-basketball-returns):

4\. Jayden Quaintance - Hornets

38\. Kam Williams - Trail Blazers

Despite recovering from an ACL tear and being one of the youngest prospects (turning 19 after the draft), Quaintance showed impressive freshman numbers—9.4 points per game and a 9.8% block rate, pointing to high defensive impact and long-term upside. No surprise seeing him in the top 5.

Kam Williams is projected 38th overall by the Trail Blazers, based on his 41.2% three-point shooting and strong defensive instincts. He profiles as a sharpshooting off-ball weapon built for NBA spacing and efficiency.

Otega Oweh appears at No. 57 to the Rockets. His standout scoring, effort, and athleticism earned him late-round draft buzz, a sign of Kentucky’s depth.

Having three Wildcats in the mock draft, with at least one projected lottery pick, underscores the program’s talent and positions Kentucky among college basketball’s elite heading into the 2025-26 season.

It’s surprising not to see standout Freshman Jasper Johnson in the mix yet, but his stock will surely rise as the season progresses.

How many Kentucky players do you see finding their way into the league after this season?

What in the world were they thinking not playing it in the first game?

Well, at least he’s liking something.

I wonder where we’ve heard this before.

A wild shake-up after Week 1.

Loved this from Brian Kelly!

How long until Dart takes the QB1 spot?

Tough, but it was still great to see her come out.

Oof. Should have stayed in Tennessee.

What a sad season its been for Clark.

This would be fun, more players should do it.
