Arsenal’s Carabao Cup third round clash against Port Vale has been selected for broadcast by Sky Sports and will take place on Wednesday, 24 September.
The match at Vale Park, an 8pm kick-off, will be the first between the two clubs since 1998, when Arsene Wenger’s Gunners needed a replay and penalty shootout to secure a place in the fourth round of the FA Cup.
Arsenal have also confirmed that October’s Premier League clash with Crystal Palace has been pushed back a day due to the Eagles’ participation in the Europa Conference League. The match will now take place on Sunday, 26 October at 2pm.
As it will no longer occupy a 3pm Saturday slot, it’ll be broadcast in the UK.
