Manchester City has cut its ticket prices for Champions League games this season with some available for £10 ($13/€11.50).
Adult tickets at Etihad Stadium for matches against Bayer Leverkusen and Galatasaray are priced between £25 and £55 while Under 18s will have access to tickets for between £10 and £25.
Watching the return of former City player Kevin de Bruyne with his new team Napoli for the opening group phase game will cost between £30 and £60 for adults, and £12.50 to £30 for Under 18s.
The fixture marks a significant reduction from the club’s first Champions League home game of last year against Inter Milan, where adult ticket prices ranged from £37.50 to £77.50.
The Premier League club has also implemented measures aiming to prevent away supporters buying tickets for areas designated for home fans.
A condition for attending the Napoli game will be that supporters must have had a matchday membership before the Champions League draw was made and have attended at least one game.
Last year, Real Madrid fans were able to access the home stands for the two sides’ meeting in Manchester, which saw the Spaniards prevail.
In 2023, City’s local rival Manchester United was forced to apologise and admit that 2,000 Galatasaray fans had been in the home end for a Champions League fixture that led to safety issues inside the stadium.
Earlier this year, Manchester City froze its season ticket prices for this season following fan protests.
