Benjamin Sesko is still learning Ruben Amorim’s system
Sesko joined the Red Devils from RB Leipzig in the summer transfer window in a deal that will end up being worth £73.7million if all adds-ons are met.
So far, the 22-year-old has been ever-present for Man Utd with one start at three substitute appearances across all competitions.
However, Sesko is still awaiting his first goal in United colours and the decision for him to take the 10th penalty in the Carabao Cup shoot-out loss to Grimsby was widely criticised on social media.
Currently away on international duty with Slovenia ahead of their World Cup qualification double-header against Switzerland and Sweden, Sesko admits he is still adjusting to English football.
In an interview as per Slovenian publication Ekipa, Sesko said: “The level of the matches is certainly much higher, the players and teammates are also at a higher level.
“After all, English football is at the highest level in the world of football.
“But I am very much looking forward to the coming period, also because I am getting better and faster in every training session, and I am also progressing in my football mentality every day.”
Patience: Benjamin Sesko
With Matheus Cunha and Mason Mount both picking up knocks in the 3-2 win over Burnley, Sesko could be handed a full Premier League debut after the international break against Manchester City.

The striker is yet to score in two previous meetings against Man City while playing for Leipzig but is looking forward to his first taste of a Manchester derby.
He added: “It’s true, it’s an incredibly big match coming up. There will simply be some pressure on both sides to just win this match.
“There’s still quite a bit to go until this match, but we’re definitely looking forward to a top-notch match.”
