[Lucas Paqueta](https://www.claretandhugh.info/lucas-paqueta-bio/) is expected to avoid any match ban and instead face a six figure fine from FA equivalent of one week’s wages for failing to provide information to the FA Investigation of which he was found not guilty of match fixing.
In July The FA released a statement saying: _‘An independent Regulatory Commission has found the misconduct charges against West Ham United’s Lucas Paqueta for alleged breaches of FA Rule E5 to be not proven.’_
_‘Lucas Paqueta was charged with two breaches of FA Rule F3 in relation to alleged failures to comply with his obligations to answer questions and provide information to The FA’s investigation._
_‘Lucas Paqueta denied the charges against him, but the Regulatory Commission found them to be proven following the hearing. The Regulatory Commission will decide an appropriate sanction for these breaches at the earliest opportunity.’_
His failure to retain a mobile phone found him in breach of F3 despite him sharing it with them before.
Some suggested his goal celebration when you mimicked picking up a phone and throwing it away was in reference to the FA case.
The written reasons of the case are expected to be published by the FA this week and could be released as early as today.
