Tom Brady, former NFL quarterback and seven-time Super Bowl winner, had much to say about linebacker Micah Parsons, who was recently traded to the Green Bay Packers by the Dallas Cowboys. In his recent appearance on the ‘Pro Football Focus’ show with Cris Collinsworth, the NFL legend heaped praises on Parsons, but also warned the defensive end to ensure that he adapts quickly to the new team.
The drama between Micah Parsons and the Dallas Cowboys has been a hot topic in this year’s offseason. Despite fans feeling strongly that Cowboys owner Jerry Jones will definitely give the linebacker his deserved contract extension, it didn’t happen. Parsons put in a trade request sometime last month and was picked up by the Green Bay Packers, who traded Kenny Clark in exchange.

“I’ve always loved his (Micah Parsons) skill set as a player. And he’s gonna have to adapt and morph his way into a system that has a lot of other good players as well. I think the challenge with being a really high-paid player, whether that’s a receiver or a defensive end, is, if you get paid a lot and you’re not racking up those statistics, there’s a lot of social media and media pressure that falls on you. And you have to be a very strong-willed competitor to say, ‘Look, the goal is winning, the team winning, not me getting, you know, a sack a game, or me as a receiver, going for, you know, 110 yards a game.’ You have to be okay with the team success,” Tom Brady spoke about Micah Parsons in his ‘PFF’ appearance.

Tom Brady has himself experienced the pressures of fans and social media when he was a player before. The retired quarterback certainly knows what he is talking about when he advised Micah Parsons to perform well in this season.

Tom Brady Hails Aaron Rodgers As GOAT
In the same episode, Tom Brady also spoke much about Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers. Brady remarked that Rodgers is easily the best quarterback in the league, while in his prime. Brady’s comments have received mixed views from social media users.
Tom Brady’s statements about Aaron Rodgers are definitely nuanced since many feel that it is he himself who deserves the GOAT title in the NFL. Still, many others feel that Kansas City Chiefs starting quarterback Patrick Mahomes deserves the title.
