The Chicago Bears have garnered significant attention over the past several weeks.
Many believe they are due for a better season than they’ve had in years past, as they’ve made several intriguing additions throughout the offseason.
One of those is rookie Luther Burden III, who is slated to be one of the team’s top three wide receivers.
Burden joins a group led by D.J. Moore and Rome Odunze, who each developed some chemistry with Caleb Williams during his rookie season.
It’s clear that the Bears want to surround Williams with as much talent as possible to give him a chance at success, and Burden should be a solid contributor.
Fans might be excited about having Burden on the team, but they might be frustrated with his jersey choices to this point.
He announced that he would be wearing No. 87, but then later changed to No. 13.
Now, as B/R Gridiron noted on X, he has made another change, switching to No. 10 before his NFL debut.
Luther Burden III has changed his number to 10 after it being 87, then 13, per @dave_bfr

Burden wore No. 3 at Missouri, but that is retired by the Bears in honor of NFL legend Bronko Nagurski.
It will be interesting to hear his rationale for his final choice, if he has one, but he must be excited and ready to contribute in whatever way possible.
The NFC North is loaded with talent, so the Bears need all the help they can get if they want any chance to compete for the division title.
