BUT: Here’s some positive news if your kid doesn’t get that starting position on the fall sports team —**backup college QBs at major college football programs are making an average of $233k this season** in NIL money alone (great news for**Bobby Collins**! A ’90s movie reference I think 4 readers might get without checking that link).
Note that’s before the new payments directly from their college also kick in . . . likely to the tune of an additional $100k. Study hard, kids! No, seriously, probably best to make use of that free education — not too many backup college quarterbacks going pro or getting NFL announcer booth jobs after graduation.
AND: No more Please Don’t Destroy videos on SNL 😪, although the guys only did 6 videos last year, their lowest total of the 4 seasons they were on the show.
