Midfielder **Matteo Dashi** has linked up with the Albania Under-19s squad for a triangular friendly tournament hosted at the nations “House of Football” training centre.
The opening match of the tournament will be played tomorrow, Thursday, 4th September, between Albania U19 and Moldova U19 (16:00 BST). On Saturday, Moldova U19 and Kosovo U19 will face off, while Albania U19 vs Kosovo U19 will be played the following Monday (09:30 BST).
Dashi will be hoping to gain valuable international experience as he continues his development on the international stage.
Goalkeeper **Lucca Benetton** made his first appearance of the season for the England Under-16s in a double-header against Italy in late August.
Benetton started the opening match in Rome, where England were narrowly defeated 2-1. He was named on the bench for the return fixture two days later, in which England bounced back with a 2-1 win courtesy of goals from Oscar Johnson and Joshua Abe.
The promising shot-stopper continues to gain valuable exposure at international level as he progresses through the ranks.
**Dean Benamar** and **Joel Drake-Thomas** were recently called up to represent England at U19 and U17 level respectively. However, both players have since withdrawn from those squads. Drake-Thomas has been replaced by Leicester City’s Hugo De Lisle.
In the younger age groups, the Academy are also celebrating call-ups for **Platon** for the Moldova U15 squad, and **Jack** and **Fletcher**, who have been selected to attend the England Goalkeeper Development Camp.
