Close to a dozen Leeds United stars have been called up to represent their respective countries during the September international break. Across first-team, Under-21s and loanees, a total of 10 players were initially called up before Joe Rodon’s withdrawal from the Wales squad.
Rodon will return to West Yorkshire early but the YEP understands he should be fit and ready to face Fulham next weekend, while the likes of Ao Tanaka and Ethan Ampadu have missed out on call-ups due to injury. There is still a strong Leeds contingent in the Wales squad, however, with Dan James to reunite with the manager who loaned him out to Fulham in 2022, Jesse Marsch.
Elsewhere, a pair of first-team players will face off against each other in the opening round of 2026 World Cup qualifying fixtures while a midfielder is set to face the current European champions. Below, the YEP takes a look at every September fixture awaiting Leeds’ international stars.
