LAKE COUNTY, Ohio — Laketran’s Sports Express bus service is back for a second season, offering Lake County residents an affordable and stress-free way to get to Cleveland Browns home games — and this year, the service will newly include select Cleveland Cavaliers games.
Round-trip tickets are $15 per person, with buses leaving the Mentor Park-n-Ride on Market Street two hours before kickoff. Riders are dropped off at St. Clair Avenue and East Ninth Street, just steps from Huntington Bank Field. Return buses depart 45 minutes after the final whistle.
New this season, groups of three or more will receive a 20% discount on fares.
Laketran officials said the program has been expanded to include weekend Cavaliers games at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse.
“We’re thrilled to bring back Sports Express and add Cavs games this year,” Laketran CEO Ben Capelle said. “Whether you’re heading downtown for football or basketball, this service takes the stress out of game day and lets fans focus on the fun.”
Tickets are available at laketransts.com, and more information is available by calling Laketran at 440-354-6100.
Laketran serves about 650,000 riders annually, providing local routes, Park-n-Ride commuter service, and on-demand options throughout Lake County and to Cleveland and University Circle.
