Trabzonspor table offer for Manchester City player whilst Manchester United offer own player

According to a claim in the Turkish media, Trabzonspor are showing interest in Manchester City’s Stefan Ortega and, at the same time, Manchester United are looking to offload Andre Onana to them.

The Black Sea side are keen to sign an experienced goalkeeper before the Super Lig transfer window closes in ten days, after they sold Uğurcan Çakır to Galatasaray earlier this week.

Sporx report on Trabzonspor’s pursuit for a goalkeeper and claim they were targeting Ortega, but have now have been given the chance to sign Onana.

Both players have uncertain futures due to arrivals this summer, and the Trabzon club could look to give them a chance to escape their situation.

The Turkish media outlet report a bid was made for Ortega, before Manchester United offered Trabzonspor the chance to loan Onana for the season.

As it stands both keepers could be regarded as third choice with their clubs. With Manchester City signing Gianluigi Donnarumma and Manchester Untied bringing in Royal Antwerp’s Senne Lammens.
