Senne Lammens ranks in top 1% for much-needed stat, Man United have signed a gem

Ineos chose to pursue a deal for Senne Lammens despite more experienced options being available on the market.

Manchester United wrapped up their summer transfer window with an £18m deal for Senne Lammens to reinforce the goalkeeping department.

Both Andre Onana and Altay Bayindir have suffered a crisis of confidence early on this season so Ineos moved quickly to bring in a new shot-stopper.

Lammens has been praised by Thibaut Courtois as a player with extremely high potential, and the stats back up the Belgian as one of Europe’s most exciting prospects.

Ineos stuck to their data-driven approach, and the numbers show that United have signed a gem in Lammens.
