The soft drink brand has tapped the Bills' star quarterback for its latest commercial, which launched Wednesday. The ad has Allen and Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson trade their game jerseys for Pepsi jumpsuits and sets them loose at a football game tailgate to surprise fans with cans of Pepsi.

The commercial starts with both players in a locker room, strategizing their approach at the drawing board with coaches in Pepsi coveralls. The players then blitz unsuspecting tailgaters at Los Angeles Chargers, Washington Commanders and Philadelphia Eagles games, giving them cans of Pepsi "to amp up their food's flavor."

The 30-second commercial will air nationally on broadcast stations, with digital and social media activations throughout the football season. The "Tailgate Crashers" theme will continue with future ads featuring NFL and culinary stars.

By partnering with Wonderful Pistachios, Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen has joined forces with another big player in the brand world and one that makes well-known commercials, synonymous for their lighter side.

Also launching Wednesday was a national Josh Allen-centered campaign for Therabody, a wellness company known for its percussive Theragun and line of other physical therapy and recovery tools. The ad campaign showcases Allen's actual recovery and prep routines using Therabody's "Plus" performance line, including the Theragun PRO Plus and JetBoots PRO Plus. Behind the scenes of Josh Allen’s expanded partnership with New Era

New Era recently announced Allen’s investment stake in the company, as well as his position as director of Billustration. And the company released a light and humorous commercial that’s received a huge reaction to introduce Allen in his new role. Here's a behind the scenes look at the spot.

It's an elevated role with the company, showing once again that, as much as Allen likes pitching products, he likes to serve a meaningful purpose in his partnerships beyond showing face.

Allen, who has partnered with New Era Cap Co. since his rookie year in 2018, has taken on a bigger role with the Buffalo-headquartered hat and apparel company. He has an investment stake in the company and serves as its "director of Billustration," while New Era will collaborate with Oishei Children’s Hospital in Buffalo to raise money for the Patricia Allen Fund, which was established in memory of Allen’s grandmother.
